But such it is and the ironic humor still need time to fall. The Alabama Representative Spencer Bachus will be the head of the House Financial Services Committee. He is eminently qualified, even as he makes it totally clear for us out here in depression-ville:
Bachus, in an interview Wednesday night, said he brings a “main street” perspective to the committee, as opposed to Wall Street.
“In Washington, the view is that the banks are to be regulated, and my view is that Washington and the regulators are there to serve the banks,” he said.
Puleeze… You do not need to look at how the banks have dealt with the poor white and black people of your constituency? Uhhh, then they should get up on their hind legs and vote you out. 2012 Good Bye Bachus.
My apologies for being so rude tonight but this just got my goat.
